The university has organised the industrial mentor forum, a space where students can communicate with alumni and people within the industry. The Acoustics Special Interest Group also consisted of more bespoke talks from people within the acoustics industry about different aspects of the work and how individual companies run. This is how I developed contact with an acoustic consultancy to complete my placement year. It went so well that I’m returning upon my graduation to continue working with them. The university has given me opportunities I don’t think I would have received anywhere else. During Year 2 of the robotics and AI degree, we’ll delve into further detail on operating systems, algorithms, data structures and robotics.
The Coventry University Group assessment strategy ensures that our courses are fairly assessed and allows us to monitor student progression towards achieving the intended learning outcomes. Additionally, you will be expected to undertake significant self-directed study of approximately hours each week, depending on the demands of individual modules.
